Single breasted waistcoat perfect for moonlit assignations in a strokable corduroy is backed and lined throughout with pure silk taffeta from James Hare. Stand up collar and matching fabric covered buttons.  Two capacious pockets with three pointed button-down flaps for all manner of trinkets and billets-doux.

This waistcoat features a panel inserted at the centre back which is expandable. Two silk ties at the back allow you to adjust the waist according to your requirements (and how much supper you intend to indulge in). Modelled after a mid 18th century original, this waistcoat is cut to be a little fuller in the chest and smaller in the armhole than a modern design. It is also longer than a modern waistcoat, extending down past the waist and ending at the hip. This helps create the appearance of a manly chest and elongated slender waist.
